Forgivness is Important - 12/1/05

I'm afraid you're going to have to forgive me for a couple of transgressions. You're going to have to forgive me for missing a comic on Wednesday. I'd pretend that one existed and that if you can't load it it is simply a personal problem but I have a feeling I could only get away with that for so long. You are also going to have to forgive me for the amount of 360 pueling I do in today's comic... and in tommorrow's as well ;P See, I'm doing what I can to actually obtain one of these machines, as I've been told that if I can find one within a week, it can be my Christmas present for the year. I think I have a plan on how to get one. You'll know by Monday, because if I suceed you will be greeted with the wonderous success comic. If there is no comic on monday, it is because I have failed and am probably crying in my bathroom. Don't worry. I'll come back out. When I'm ready.

The Legions of R.O.B. - 11/29/05

With 1up.com giving away a one free XBOX360 every day this month, I was not the only one of the group to get on and register at the site. As such, this past weekend the five of us came together and formed a little 1up club. Or, at least, we tried to. After 3 hours of debate over what the name for the club would be (we already had unofficaly decided that the purpose would be, well, little to none), we finally came to agree upon a name. We would be known as Club VIVA LA REVOLUTION. Or, at least we would have been. But the name was already taken, and my attempts to instead name the club VIVA LA REVOLUTION!!!!!!!!! were rejected by the others. Somehow, we managed to quickly turn around and found another object to dedicate ourselves to: R.O.B., who had recently come up when I discovered he was a secret character in Mario DS. As such, The Legions of R.O.B. do actually exist, although I cannot say that we are the driving force behind the New World Order. It doesn't mean that we aren't... I just, you know... can't say.

XBOX360ISHERE - 11/22/05

This summer I planned on setting aside some cash to pick up a XBOX360 with the intention of preordering the system. Unfortunetly, when it was announced that the 360 would be sold at $400 dollars instead of the $300 dollars I had been anticipating (And yes, I realize the Core system is $300, but backwards compatability is a big issue with me, so we're just going to pretend it doesn't exist ;P), I decided to wait it out and take longer to decide what next gen console I was going to go with

Well.

PS3 definetly isn't the ticket. I'm pretty tired of Sony being the console leader; they haven't done much with it but sit around, and there isn't anything exciting about the PS3 to me. Marginally better graphics. Woo. So I know I want a 360, even at the price that makes me hurt pretty badly. But at this stage, I'll probably wait till January to pick it up, after money has been spent on the holidays. I'm a bit bummed out I missed out on all the launch-day-craziness. But, even if I missed out on the ridiculousness this time around, I'll definetly be there day of for the Revolution. Cause, I mean, it doesn't matter what games they launch with with that system. You already know it's going to one crazy trip, and I can't wait to jump onboard that one.

Finishing the game - 11/15/05

Okay, so today's comic was up a bit late. I usually put them up before I go to bed... last night I was up pretty late playing Fable, so it kind of slipped my mind. I'm now into the "extra" stuff and it's pretty awesome. They don't play the credits or anything after where the game originally ended, so if you haven't played it before you might be a bit weirded out at first when after you reach the emotional climax of the game... it's still not done. But the extra stuff is nifty and definetly gives it more of a complete feeling. Plus, I'm buying all of the property in the game, so that's making it longer for me as well :P

Some things are better left unsaid - 11/10/05

I was tempted to put up a link to the HuFu website, in light of today's comic. But, at this stage, if you know what it is, you really don't wanna have to think about it anymore. It's already ruined the thought of tofu for you. If you don't know what it is... I have no desire to steal your innocence as selfishly and carelessly as my own was when the Daily Show revealed this product to the world. Let us mearly leave the comic as all the information you need to know, and try to go back to living our lives.

It has returned - 11/7/05

For realzors.

I'm not lying. Really - 11/3/05

Right. Yeah. So the comic didn't return. I went out there, I said it'd come back. And it didn't. This is true. This might cause you to call me a number of things (example: dirty liar) but you have to understand... it's not my fault. I wanted to make comics, really, I did. I was all ready to go. But then my mind was taken hostage, unwillingly, by forces I could not control. What might that have been? Tune in Monday to find out... for real this time ;P

An update? OMGWTFPWND - 9/2/05

The comic will return next Monday. Not this monday, but the one after that. This post is mainly for the purpose of making sure everything still works since the site crashed over the summer... and reminding myself how this whole updating thing actually works :P

Yesterday was a joke, yes - 4/2/05

Yeah, the whole SW comic and site was very much a April's Fools. Kudos to you who thought, despite how absolutely terrible it was, it was real ;)

A news post?!? Dear Lord!!! - 3/30/05

So I had this post written up and then putty decided to mysteriously stop working right when I choose to save. That's quite in the spirit of this week. Letme try this again

So, I apologize for having taken an extra long vacation, and that comic posts have been a bit odd this week. There are reasons for this, they're just not all that great. See, during my offical week off from the comic, I had planned on using my free time to do more comics. But what ended up happening was that I ended up spending all that time with Colure and Colure's computer, which I should mention, I never even was able to finish fixing during the course of the entire break. So I ended up not having any backlog going into the next week. So I figured I'd extend the break and do quite a bit of work last week. Well, it was around that time that it finally dawned upon me that I was completely fubared for German and C Programming. German, because I am absolutely terrible at languages. There's nothing I can do about that except study my brains out and hope for a C. That's pretty pathetic, but unfortunetly, that's the situation I'm in with that one. C Programming, because at the moment I am being taught by someone who seems to be completely unable to teach basic programming concepts to people who have limited programming experience. Actually, scratch that, because there are people in this class who have taken C before, who's credits didn't transfer over, and who are doing worse then me cause they don't have a clue what's going on. All of our time gets spent on things furthering basic concepts, showing exceptions, which is absolutely useless when we haven't got a clue what we're actually doing and, more importantly, *why* we have to do certain things. I have a exam in that class on Friday that's kinda came out of nowhere, and am absolutely screwed. I'll spend the entire portion of tommorrow diving into online tutorials, which in theory should not be better then the teacher or the book, but in practice have turned out to be quite superior. I'll still go over the book. Class notes are useless. I would start studying for it today, but we've been blitzkrieged like Poland with our hardest Astronomy test of the year tommorrow, which threatens to completely mess with a class I've been doing relatively well in for the most part.

Anyways, I'm done ranting. This weekend I should be able to get a nice backlog going and get us back on track. I'll definetly have a comic for Friday and I'll try to have one for tommorrow. I apologize if we're doing a lot of Star Wars at the moment... it's kind of the only thing coming to mind ;P

I blame everything on KotoR2 - 3/4/05

So, I realize there wasn't a comic on Thursday. I apologize for this. It's not that I didn't have one ready; I did. And it's not that I simply forgot and no one reminded me; Josh told me at least twice yesterday that I had not uploaded a comic. However, Josh told me this while I was playing Knights of the Old Republic 2, and as such he was dismissed with a quick nod, and a "I'll get to it in 5 minutes", which of course, I could not, due to the fact that KotoR2 had comletely destroyed my sense of time. This is generally not possible by any normal game, but this just happens to be an incredibly awesome game. So I apologize for it. But the game is pretty freakin awesome

In other news, I'll be taking a week off sometime soon for spring break. Colure's spring break is a week earlier, so she's coming down today. I'm not gonna be able to get a lot of work done on the comics while she's here, so I think I'm going to just take the week that'll be my spring break off. But I'll be back after that, because, well, I have nothing better to be doing. Except KotoR2. Have I mentioned how much that game rocks?

This comic is already obsolete - 2/16/05

Yes. It happens. I do these things weeks in advanced. Sometimes things change and I groan, but I upload it anyways cause I'm running on low seeing as how Colure has been down every other weekend for like, 6 days, and for some reason believes I should "spend time with her" rather then sit on the computer all day. I have no idea why. And you know, today's is still pretty funny, I like it. But there's a problem and that's that it has been almost 2 weeks since said email, and still no controller. Granted I have another good 70 days on the warranty so any chances they have of waiting me out are pretty fruitless, but I wouldn't put it past them. Anyways, morale of the story is, gamestop sucks, don't buy stuff from them if you can help it :P Only reason I even went there was because they had a combo deal which was an XBOX that came with Knights of the Old Republic... and that's pretty hard to resist. Seeing as how KotOR is probably the best game I've played in about 5 years, I can't say I really regret it.

Anyways, enough of a rant. Gamestop sucks, go to EB. Tommorrow Xenosaga II will be here, and Kevin will go into hibernation mode for like, a day. Because from what I've heard, it's only 20 hours, and if it's good enough, I may be tempted to play it straight up. We'll see. Until then, hold my calls

It needs your eyes... - 1/28/05

So, I feel compelled to explain today's strip a bit. Although really I'm just using this as an excuse to show a commercial I think everyone, for reasons of health and safety, should watch. First off, yes, I do own a Virtual Boy. In fact, unlike most reasonable people, I like my Virtual Boy. I'd even go so far to say I love my Virtual Boy. But not like that. He's just a friend.

But, despite the fact that I enjoy a system most people consider a nuclear assault upon their eyes, I cannot dispute the fact that many of the ads for it don't just suck, but personally terrify me. I can tell why no one bought this. It wasn't because it was weird or that it came out around the same time as the Playstation, or even that it only had 256 shades of red or that parents were afraid their kids eyes would burn out if they played it. The commercials simply scared the bejesus out of everyone. I highly advise you to watch this commercial so you know what I'm talking about.

In real life news, it appears Spencer, our generic joe-college 4th roommate is moving out this weekend, possibly because we are too lame for him. This means it'll just be the 3 of us, which is rather awesome. And I get my own bathroom. That means I can... deocrate it? I dunno. I guess that'll be cool. Oh, and today I recieved by mail my new XBOX, which means for the first time ever I have all of the current generation of consoles. Which means there is no limitations to stop me from buying any game that comes out. Except money. Crap. How important is eating again?

The Launch - 1/24/05

So, welcome. For those of you returning, we hope you enjoy the new style. For those of you who are new... welcome to the comic. Yes. The Comic. I know what you may be thinking. Yes, it looks like another comic with a couple of guys in a college apartment setting. There are a million of those. And indeed, at first glance, we are a couple of guys in a college apartment setting. But, you're missing the finer details. I mean, how many of those other comics have half of their cast belonging to the female gender? Who aren't imaginary? Or terrifying in real life? Yeah. And I mean, where else can you see a rampaging German with terrifying hair demanding a hot stone message? Besides www.aryannationcomics.com? That's what I thought. So sit back and enjoy a look into our terribly, terribly sad lives.
